Great hotel

Liked: Just across the street from the Convention Centre, which was the main reason staying here. Spacious and clean room. Accommodating and kind staff.
Disliked: Soundproofing could be better.

Good

Disliked: The 2 sofa beds were very uncomfortable: the metal frame can be felt in the middle of the mattress, making sleeping complicated.

Exceptional

Liked: Staff was very courteous but there was no bell boy or parking facilities at the hotel.

The hotel is very convenient...

Liked: It is very convenient to the convention center. Also, the area is nice and safe and close to Collins Avenue where there are many other restaurants about a 10 minute walk away. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.
Disliked: The couch was very uncomfortable. The towels and linens were of low quality, and dishes, silverware and plateware were very old and worn in our room. They may have been fine in other rooms. The bed and pillows were ok. There is a Mr. Coffee style coffee maker in the room with filters, but no coffee to get started with. It would be nice to have a starter pack rather than finding out at 5:30 am there is no coffee in the room. There is coffee in the lobby starting at 6am.

Disliked: It took me a while to figure out that the hot water from the shower was coming from the cold!! I understand that plumbers are not always the best but a simple sticker to explain the reverse connection will have been very helpful!

Expectetion not meet

Liked: Very small breakfast. Booked for 3 people and was only a quin bed (for me and my husband) and a very unconfortable sofa for my son. I asked for sofa bedding sheets but was not sheets for this sofa.
Disliked: Sofa was unconfortable (broken ). Expectexd real breakfast and parking
