Clean, comfortable, welcoming.

Liked: The staff were unfailingly helpful, friendly and polite. They speak excellent English. The hotel is well-presented, with modern, clean lines in the decor. The staff were willing to change my friend's room (separate booking) when she found that it was too small and lacked some of the facilities that were in my room (even though both were at the same price). The bedroom windows open so that you can have fresh air.
Disliked: My friend (separate booking) had a much smaller room without a desk and chair. The reception staff were willing to move her to a better room. My room was fine, but if I'd been staying longer, I would have regretted the lack of natural light (the window faced, at close quarters, the wall of another large building). Other travellers should perhaps be aware that some rooms are quite small and therefore can't accommodate eg a desk and chair. It would be wise to check how big the room is and what is in it before booking, or by contacting the hotel before arrival. Barcelona is a very expensive city and the price of the room reflected this.

Disliked: Some rooms had no access to the fresh air and view through the window. Be sure you are booking the right room.
