Exceptional

Great hotel but elevator needs...

Liked: Lovely hotel and out stay was very nice. Unfortunately our room was located near the elevators. They were squeaking, like metal rubbing loudly whenever used. You could hear it from our room. Not such a big deal til trying to sleep and all I could hear was the screech of metal on metal of the elevator.

Disliked: Thar breakfast wasn't included.

Conference location recommended

Liked: The service was impeccable. They made special accommodations for a back injury. I just think it was superior. The concierge was amazing
Disliked: Nothing.

Well located, comfortable stay.

Liked: The hotel is very well located with river front access to the boardwalk, and close to many nice restaurants. The river view rooms have great views. The room was comfortable, although the air conditioning incredibly noisy. Ear plugs helped.
Disliked: The WIFI password printed out and handed to guests was incorrect. The reception staff were unaware that the password had been updated. One of the staff tried to input the incorrect password into my phone and disabled my airplane mode which connected my phone to data roaming and I will be charged a day pass.

My First Vistit To Wilmington...

Liked: I stayed 2 nights 3days, and my first time to visit Wilmington. I got very impressed with kind staffs, easy access from Wilmington International Airport. In fact, this hotel might be a sort of classic however maintenance and staffs’ attitude, including smiling, guide and atmosphere are wonderful! Even better, I have an excellent case with a certain staff. By the time of my checkout, it was very early morning due to departure flight schedule. I had a trouble to grab a cab. The staff helped me to have an alternative taxi, even surprisingly the fare got paid by her arrangement. With her support, I managed to get onboard on time!
Disliked: A bit old fashion facility, a bit cold room temperature, a bit inferior access by public trasportation, a bit few dining venues/restaurants or shops nearby, especially walking distance.

Pleasant

Liked: Perfect location in downtown Wilmington
Disliked: The air conditioning in our room stopped working during our stay, the room got up to 80 degrees. I called the front desk and they started that maintenance would not be in until the next morning. I asked if they had a fan we could use, which they didn’t. Very uncomfortable with no solution so we left early
