Liked: Staff are nice and friendly, the room is kind of clean, but the surroundings are a bit weird. Breakfast is okay, but has little choice. The price per night is not that much crazy. so in general this is fine.
Disliked: The soundproofing in the room is so poor that you can't stand it. You can clearly hear the conversation next door and the walking sounds upstairs. It's unbearable. Don't consider it unless you are deaf. I'm sorry.

Liked: Near to the town centre, could do all meetings by walking
Disliked: Noisy tourists at my floor

Liked: It was super clean. We got candy and water in the room. We had a nice view from the hotel
Disliked: Wifi connection was not 100% fall out specially at night. It would have been nice if we had a little fridge or mini bar.

Decent, but don't expect much.

Liked: It was what we needed. A roof, beds, breakfast.The house had an elevator.We needed to get to the university and so the location, chosen for that purpose, worked
Disliked: Everything was at simplest level possible and I felt the price was a bit high for that. It is purely functional.Some of the cabling in the room looked self made, but it was just the TV antenna.

Good option in Aachen-West near...

Liked: I needed a room in that part of Aachen, so location was a big plus. The rooms are clean, simple, comfortable and meet expectations.
Disliked: It's fairly simple. Traffic noise might be a problem.
