Disappointing
Liked: Great location
Disliked: Hotel EV charging broke, offered self-pay option.Laundry locked during hours stated open.Room felt institutional.When asked for early check in , hotel sent message it would be $50 additional; however housekeeping was knocking on Room door before 10 AM.Other hotels in Morro Bay have great staff that work to make the visit a great experience for the same price or less with better views from the room.

Liked: I really appreciated Cameron's help with my ordeal with Avisa. It was clear to me that he has the best intensions of Avisa's patrons.
Disliked: For the record, Hotel Avisa does not allow changes to check-in dates within 72 hours of the original check-in date. I did not wish to cancel my reservation, I simply wanted to change my date of check-in. My first attempt to change my check in date was rejected due to "unavailability for the dates selected." Fair enough. So I tried a different date, and I called Hotel Avisa to make sure the type of room I wanted was available on the check-in date of preference. Once I submitted my request to change dates for a second time, I was within the 72 hours of check-in, and on the morning of my original check in date, Booking sent me an email that Avisa had yet to respond to my request. This alerted me to call Avisa and make sure they saw the request from Booking before my check in that afternoon. As it turns out, regardless of my efforts Hotel Avisa had no intention of changing my dates because I was within the 72 hour window at this point, so I had to make a quick decision to either cancel my reservation and forfeit my deposit or rush and take the room on the day of. It is best to keep consumers aware of active policies in place of each hotel which may vary from Bookings policies when it comes to changing check in dates. I was under the impression by the emails sent to me that I could change my check in date but could not collect a refund for cancellation within 72 hours of the original check-in. That was not the case at Avisa, and I hope someone help can avoid this potential mess due to a lack of communication from Booking and Avisa.

Liked: The bed was very comfortable
Disliked: The torn screen door, dirty patio furniture. I needed more lighting in the room. The top flushing toilet was gross and dirty. Over priced for what you don't get. The door on the cabinet holding the fridge didn't close because of the fridge, take the door off someone can get hurt.
