Liked: The location.
Disliked: The location is excellent, and the room—while some might consider it a bit old—has a certain charm. That said, the staff interaction left something to be desired. We called the front desk after we had already checked in to ask a question; they gave a straightforward answer but hung up before we could ask a follow-up. Before check-in, we also tried calling to confirm a detail and were told to email instead.One major issue: although the hotel is listed on Booking.com as having air conditioning, it’s only available from May onward. Unfortunately, we stayed during a warm spring day and had to open the windows to cool the room—only to be swarmed by mosquitoes. It made for a pretty miserable night.
