Hotel at the Lafayette A Trademark Collection Hotel, Buffalo

Liked: I loved the building itself - the architecture was stunning and the way that it was decorated went right along with the whole feel of the place. The espresso bar in the lobby was wonderful. The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful. Our room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. If I ever need to stay in the area again this would definitely be my first choice!
Disliked: The Pan American Grill and Brewery had pretty slow service. The food was so-so and took a long time to get to our table.

Everything good about the experience, except the attached restaurants closing early. Would have been nice to eat there after concert.

Liked: Very clean. Huge room. Valet were very nice people.
Disliked: Not sure if owned by the hotel, but restaurants/bars attached to the hotel closed between 9-10.

Liked: Super friendly and helpful staff, good location, very clean and large room.
Disliked: The fireplace didn’t work and the bed was a little uncomfortable and it was quite expensive to stay but otherwise it was a good hotel

Historic hotel as a concert...

Liked: Great location, friendly staff, nice room layout - tub, we'll lit, modern with enough outlets, separate space (suite)
Disliked: Bed was like.sleeping on melted butter. Too much give, no support at all. TV guide did not match the channels, our suite had 2 windows that looked out into an enclosed roof area walled in by other parts of the hotel. No view, no sky. Cheap toilet paper.

Reasonable accommodation with art deco...

Liked: Hotel room was way bigger than I expected, more like a suite. Hotel had a very art deco feel to it. Very close to the bus station.
Disliked: Decor wasn’t to my taste & I found the room a little bit creepy.

Beautiful property, but lacking in...

Liked: The old hotel is beautiful, and was tastefully restored. Staff were kind and working hard.
Disliked: The gas fireplace in my room didn't work, and it took them over an hour to offer me another room. The room had an ironing board but no iron. The hotel keeps its front door locked 24-7, which didn't create a feeling of safety or welcomeness. There's no place in the hotel to get food after 2 PM.
