Decent but poor customer service...

Liked: The room was very small (I was single occupancy so I suppose they just squeeze you in!), but clean and warm. I had forgotten my ear plugs but the lady on reception found me some which saved me having to go out which was great. Quiet, and a great location and good value for a one-night stay when I needed to be that end of the City.
Disliked: They could do with some coat hooks, and if you want to hang any clothes in the tiny wardrobe you have to move the ironing board & iron out first! I asked about food on arrival, and was told that the cafe/restaurant opened at 5.30. Since I had to leave at 6.15 for an event, I called down for room service. I was told by the staff at the restaurant that they only did pizzas on Saturday (although I had checked beforehand), and on questioning it I was told he would check and phone me back. Half an hour later there had been no call which I felt was extremely poor customer service. So... if you're staying and want food..... maybe go out for it!

Liked: Great location as I work at the university. Lovely staff and a great choice for breakfast.
Disliked: I was located in a room with very very noisy radiator pipes which caused a very disturbed night. I probably should have popped down to reception to ask to move rooms tbh.

Disliked: That the first card did not allow access to the building but was given a plastic card that worked and gave access.
