Excellent value for money. A...

Liked: Room compact but comfortable with no noise from neighbouring rooms or the corridor.. Good filling breakfast, plenty of options for vegetarians. The hotel is directly opposite the Altenburg railway station which offers direct trains to Leipzig and Halle as well as towns in Thuringia. Good supermarket and bakers in the building next door.
Disliked: Some noise from the gym downstairs. Shower facilities are rather basic

Liked: Location was good
Disliked: 1 extra night wasn't the same price as previous nights, and was justified as 'we are really busy' but currently, the car park is empty.No fridge in room either.

Value for money but lacking...

Liked: Good breakfast, free parking. Hotel is very handy for the station but a 15 minute walk from the main part of the town, where most restaurants are located.
Disliked: No restaurant and the hotel shuts down once the reception closes, which means the bar closes early.
