Comfortable stay in a historic...

Liked: Charming historic property. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I love a hotel with a good clawfoot bathtub.
Disliked: The property had some quirks of older properties, but that wasn’t a negative for me! Breakfast was simple but it was free so no complaints here.

Great time !

Liked: Hotel staff was very accommodating. : ) Room was great. Our dinner at Café Tomo was outstanding. Loved staying on the plaza. We saw a great show, Hot Tuna, at the Van Duzer. Partied after the show at the pub on the corner down the street. Overall a great experience.
Disliked: Not applicable. Turn the frown upside-down !

Historic yes, but mediocre

Liked: We liked the proximity to restaurants and cafes as it was in the town square.
Disliked: The bathroom door squeaked so badly that it woke us up thru the night. Staff was flat. Breakfast option was terrible

Loved the very convenient location....

Liked: Location and the quaintness / style of the hotel. The shower worked really well which was nice.
Disliked: At first I was given a small full sized bed and my daughter was visiting me from college so it just didn’t work. Fortunately they upgraded me to a king size bed which was very comfortable. Not enough shelf space in bathroom and in the room because of the older design of the room - but charming. Staff was pretty friendly especially the maid we saw in the hall who asked if we needed anything and gave us fresh wash clothes and more soap.

Fine hotel but parking needs...

Liked: The hotel was very nice, clean and centrally located.
Disliked: There was a festival in the square ALL weekend so roads were blocked off and the hotel was inaccessible by car. We had to walk several blocks each time we left the hotel and returned. I was with a disabled friend and this made our stay incredible difficult. When festivals are taking place in the square, a shuttle or drop off location inside the barricades is a necessity and most likely the law.

Overall, super comfortable place to...

Liked: The old historic building, the downtown location, and the price were great. The bed was super comfortable and the old claw foot bathtub made me so happy, it also had excellent hot water pressure. The staff was helpful and quick to accommodate any questions or needs.
Disliked: The hotel could use an upgrade on decor, it's a fantastic old building that deserves some TLC. My room, initially was kinda stinky- just old carpets, etc... so I had to do a little smudge/spraying to refresh it.
