Basic hotel but good location

Disliked: There are only 2 electrical sockets in the room, and not near kettle. Beds are hard. No English language TV channels . No room safe.

Worst “hotel” that smells of...

Liked: This will go down in history as the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at I would give it negative stars if possible.
Disliked: The woman at reception was extremely rude and unhelpful. After a long trip she threw her hands in the air and said we couldn’t stay there because we booked a single room. That’s fine it was clearly an accident, we didn’t have an issue at the other 3 hotels in Italy. We upgraded after a long back and forth of trying to come up with a solution for $300 euros to a “family room” which was basically a larger bed. You can see it’s 2 spring frame twin beds pushed together. It smelled like cat urine, cigarette smoke and mildew that they tried to cover up with a gross air freshener. The only blanket was balled up in the closet and the bed had tiny black bugs we only found late on the second night. DO NOT STAY HERE! The only positive was the water pressure and updated bathroom. This hotel should call itself a hostel but that would be insulting to hostels.

Liked: It was clean. Great location and the staff were exceptional. I don’t know the name of the lady who checked us in on the 6th Oct (who goes to Knightsbridge, London a Christmas). She was great in explaining where to go etc.We would see Jon in the evenings and he would book our taxis and help us get out and about. Property was in the greatest of locations! 400 metres from Colosseum and 20 min walk to Trevi fountain. Great beds that were relaxing g to sleep on. Amazing!
Disliked: There was nothing we did t like about the property. It was perfect.
