Liked: The hotel is on a beautiful and quiet street, close to the lovely Park Luzhánky, near a tram stop, and short walk from the center of Brno. The manual for the hotel has an alarmingly and amusingly detailed list of things guests are not allowed to do. I hope many if not most of them have never actually happened.
Disliked: The carpets were worn and stained but the room itself was basic and clean. The walls are so thin I could hear my neighbour crying out in a nightmare at night, but mostly I was not troubled by noise. I was there on a quiet weeknight, so imagine that the noise could be quite troublesome at busier periods. I did not feel unsafe, especially since the hotel has 24-hour reception and does a good job of making sure that people returning after 10pm are actually guests. However, it did make me uncomfortable that the rooms lock with a single simple key and the door does not have a deadbolt. There is not so much as a glass for water in the room, and this is the only budget hotel I’ve stayed at which charges for soap. The hotel manual says that soap can be had for a cost of what I think was 100 crowns; I had my own soap, so cannot verify what the actual charge is. For reference, a glass of svařák (Czech mulled wine), at a nearby market, if you are staying in November or December, will set you back 70 crowns.

Liked: friendly staff speaks English; nice location, and great price
Disliked: place could use renovation as many features are tired and worn, but for the price it can't be beat

Disliked: Furniture is dirty and in bad condition, wifi does not work very well. Poor breakfast, without vegetables. The pictures on Booking website do not match reality.

Disliked: We arrived to the hotel after long trip, and wanted to took a shower. There was no hot water, the water was cold and the staff said they couldn’t do anything today and tomorrow should be fixed. They changed our room 4 times in that day to try different bathrooms if they had hot water. The breakfast was basic. Day after we got back late at night and wanted to buy water from the reception and they said that the water sold out , and they never refilled again .

Disliked: Photos are outdated, the furniture and bathroom is old, worn out. This is not a hotel, rather a dormitory for seasonal workers

Disliked: The hotel was awful and dirty..On the floors of our room there were hair... The toilet was dirty... The shower was awful!!

Disliked: Not clean enough, the whole property was in a bad shape, definitely not worth the money
