A gem auf ost-Dortmund

Liked: It is a converted officers mess from when the British were in West Germany. It is decorated very nicely and has a relaxed feel.
Disliked: Perhaps some history of the property would be nice.

Eclectic little Hotel. Loved it.

Disliked: Super staff. Cool decor. Great options for food and staff supplier order in menu’s.

Good location,good staff

Liked: It was close to the airport and the staff was very nice.
Disliked: A cold wind was blowing through the windows and the baby's crib hadn't been set up in advance.

ideal hotel out of town

Liked: very close to our friends we were having dinner with and catching up.on checking out, i was asked if i would like a coffee to go, to which i replied yes please and a white tea for my wife!we also had two chocolate Santas outside the door! A very nice touch indeed!excellent stay, in a former BAOR Teachers Officers Mess.
Disliked: noisy early morning guests leaving! Not the Hotels fault. Very quiet location.

Clean and quiet

Liked: Clean and quiet. I recommend this hotel.
Disliked: Nothing I disliked about the hotel. Location was not great for me but likely not too bad for others. I was travelling with public transport out of town. It is not too far from 1 u-bahn line but quite far from the u-bahn I needed to get to where I was going. Not really anything that was an issue with the hotel to be honest.

Disliked: Single beds and small bedroom

Liked: Rooms super clean, comfortable, great beds and bathroom.
Disliked: Staff going out of their way to acvomodate us. Super helpful and very nice. Reallly impressed with the service!

Fantastic accommodation in a historic...

Liked: Excellent staff, spacious room with quality fixtures and fittings. The building has real history too being previously used as service family’s accommodation by the British Army of the Rhein (BAOR). It is just sad that the Stadt seems to be happy to wipe from history any evidence that the British were once here in Dortmund.
Disliked: Nothing.
