COMFORTABLE, CONVENIENT, AFFORDABLE

Liked: Our room at the Hotel am Schützenberg was unusually large, it was tastefully decorated and it was properly furnished with a large, comfortable bed, a large wardrobe/Schrank, and several tables and chairs. In addition, our room had large windows, faced mature trees and was very peaceful. It was also well-illuminated and had numerous electrical sockets. The WiFi/Internet was adequate.The remote check-in process was problem-free, our room was properly serviced during our absence and the price was very reasonable. While the hotel is not immediately adjacent to the Schloss or the theater, we found the location to be very convenient, especially as parking at the hotel is easy and economical
Disliked: We would have welcomed a mini-refrigerator and/or a coffee maker (or electric kettle) in the room, but that may be asking too much of a reasonably priced and comfortable hotel room.

We have stayed here before...

Liked: We had a living room with a kitchenette and a separate bedroom. The hotel is close to the town centre and has two supermarkets nearby. The hotel is very quiet and also historic.
Disliked: The kitchenette was fine except there was no light inside and when the doors were open to use it the light was blocked out.

Exceptional

Liked: This hotel was simply beautiful! The room was spacious and was set up like an apartment. It was exceptionally neat and clean. There was a pizza and Döner place directly across the street. The food was delicious! I checked in late and it was a simple process to get access to the room key. If you are going to be in this area, I highly suggest this hotel. It will not disappoint!
