Hotel Alpina occupies a charming historic building right next to the Lucerne Train Station and the KKL Convention Center. The Chapel Bridge is just a 3-minute walk away. A varied hot and cold breakfast buffet is served every morning in the sister Hotel Monopol next to the Alpina. There you also find the Suite Lounge & Bar on the 7th floor featuring superb views over the city. Guests of Alpina Luzern benefit from free WiFi in all areas. Fine food and selected wines can be enjoyed in the hotel's La Bestia restaurant. As the hotel is located right in the heart of Lucerne next to the train station there are also numerous other possibilities for having a drink a coffee lunch and dinner in the immediate vicinity. The Old Town is quickly and easily reachable on foot. Hourly trains connect Lucerne with the Zurich Airport. Liked: Closed to Luzern train station and easily assessable to nearby attractions such as chapel bridge, lion monument, and shopping streets. Chapel bridge was stunning when dark falls.
Disliked: None I can think off. However, may be noisy at night as a cafe is just next to the hotel.

Great location near amenities

Liked: Hotel near Luzern’s Train Station and furnitures in the room were great quality but size of the room a bit cramped for 4 Adults.We also appreciate they have facilities for us to leave luggages before check-in time.
Disliked: Wifi not that good and also a bit difficult process for other user member in our group to use it.

Liked: Friendly staff
Disliked: The noise during night was really really bad and super annoying- many clubs, bars around.
