Excellent value for money

Liked: Close to the train station. Functional room at a very good price for Switzerland

Disappointing. Hotel promises a lot...

Liked: Breakfast was nice and fresh and the staff on Reception and elsewhere were all very friendly and helpful. The room had been well prepared by the cleaning staff.
Disliked: I was not impressed to get into my room and find paint peeling from the ceiling, an apparent slash in the headboard lining, a loose toilet fitting, cigarette burns on the net curtains. Plus zero bar facilities either in person or machines in the hotel.

Good location to stay

Liked: Excellent location, and a good customer service. The food was good and have enough links to public transport (train or bus to move around). You have enough restaurant joints around hotel and station to suit your taste pallette. The train and bus station is walkable.
Disliked: Though the facilities seems fine, the chair was not maintained properly and lack of power sockets. It is highly recommended to check the Swiss socket type as not all the universal adapter has such option, especially if your cables are heavy.
