Superb

Liked: This is a very nice place to stay. The location is central old town with many sights, bars and restaurants nearby and Lake Zurich an easy walk away. Public transport (central train station, tram stops and Polybahn cable car) are also very close by. All the staff were friendly and helpful. WiFi worked perfectly and I was offered the use of a free mobile hotspot device as mobile data roaming was problematic, given that Switzerland is not in the EU. The breakfast offered was tasty and more than adequate, and because I had to leave the hotel too early to be able to have breakfast on several mornings, the staff put together a "lunchbox" that was delivered to the fridge in my room every day. Coffee, tea and water were available free of charge 24/7 in the lobby. My room was compact but very well designed with attention to detail; plenty of clothes hangers (and not the mean variety without a hook either : ), towel rails and heaters, a magnifying mirror in the bathroom, plenty of sockets (some with permanent power and adaptors for various different plugs) and of course a comfortable bed. If/when I return to Zurich, I won't hesitate to stay here again!
Disliked: Nothing that I can think of : )

Disliked: unfortunately there on a saturday night was very noisy in the street

Loved it!

Liked: Extremely clean and tidy hotel, room and facilities. Felt very cosy even in such a small but very comfortable room. Location of the hotel is perfect since it is in the city centre and is close to all important sightseeing destinations. Staff did their job perfectly well, especially on the breakfast which was also amazing even though it can be considered as small sized one.

Liked: Inclusion of breakfast aided in the budgeting for this pricey country. Close walk to the Zurich HBF, but beware of the cobblestones in the old district leading. Pleanty of local eateries within walking distance.
Disliked: Very small and compact room. Bathroom struggled to fit two of us within the same space to brush our teeth. There are local night clubs/bars downstairs which are open until early in the AM (1-2am), so would not recommend if you are unable to block this noise out due to the Old Town buildings allowing for echoing of noise to travel upwards.
