Liked: The hotel was extremely enjoyable! We loved the rooftop bar and its historical feel. The connected bar was absolutely a blast and the staff there made it such fun! We would absolutely recommend the hotel to our friends and family
Disliked: The valet service was very slow and rather pricey.

Liked: The Hotel Alex Johnson is in a great location with a fantastic rooftop bar that affords views of the Black Hills and Rapid City. Our king bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, and the blackout blinds were so effective we didn't realize it was daylight when we woke up the first morning. We will definitely stay again if we return to Rapid City.
Disliked: The parking situation is a little challenging. Valet is quite expensive and the parking app for street parking wasn't working properly, which is not the hotel's fault, but it did mean we had to keep moving the car around.

Liked: Room was right off the elevator. 2 queen beds not alot of room between beds and dresser. But enough for one person to get through at a time.
Disliked: All was very good.we enjoyed our stay. And liked all the history of the hotel. And loved the painted of the Hotel that we saw in the gift shop.
