Great and comfortable place for...

Liked: I am visiting “ Albani” second time. Hotel is located near the train station in 7 minutes distance which very convenient. The facilities are comfortable. Robes, duvets, linen, kettle, tea and coffee sachets. Historical spirit of hotel where you can feel the spirit of Florence.
Disliked: I would suggest to extend the choice of breakfast food

A classic beauty with everlasting...

Liked: Excellent. Great service from all staff. We made a few initial enquires and were even permitted to leave our luggage a day earlier than scheduled. Hearty breakfast options. Convenient location. A 5-minute walk from the Santa Maria Novella train station. Comfy rooms. A classic dame of a hotel being given a refresh.

Felt like I was stepping...

Liked: It was authentic. Whilst the decor was old it was impeccably clean and comfortable. Rooms were spacious, breakfast included was plentiful and the staff were hospitable.
Disliked: Currently renovating rooms and the tradespeople smoking so there was a strong smell when we arrived but we dropped our bags and by the time we returned they had left for the day and the smell had disappeared. Also mirror on ceiling of bathroom a little odd.
