Liked: the exterior of the hotel / room was beautiful and made you feel like you were on vacation on a beach or resort somewhere
Disliked: 1.) 2 of 3 elevators still being out of service due to the hurricane 2.) the stiffness/hard couch in the room 3.) the “smart TV” only has basic channels, couldn’t use airplay or screen mirroring

Liked: The staff was the best part about the property. While it looks beautiful on line, the hotel has taken a beating and not just from the last hurricane which was of course out of their control. The rooms a huge (King Suite) and at one time were well appointed but now are just beat up. Lack of staff is not helping I’m sure. Water bugs and worn out furniture were the main reason for the review. There was a shuffleboard table in the lobby that honestly needs to be replaced or repaired. I know it sounds like I’m picking but if it’s there to use it should be in good working condition. Elevators did not work (Not their fault-hurricane) but they should warn you if you are going to stay there.
Disliked: The staff! Very helpful (Don’t call at night - no one answers) and very knowledgeable about where to go and what to do. Friendly and attentive but unfortunately under staffed. The outside bar wouldn’t open because, I was told, it was too cold and the bartender didn’t want to be outside. It was 66 degrees and you had to order at the bar because the outdoor bar that had heaters, was closed. Ok. So the staff gets 100% of my vote on customer service.
