Liked: Staff was fantastic, property was beautiful
Disliked: Elevator was out, did not know this until we arrived and we were placed on the 11th floor with no other options. This was a nightmare and made us feel stuck and not looking forward to coming back to our room. We dreaded the walk back up and once there felt we had to be stuck the rest of the night bc the walk back up would be so grueling.

Good

Liked: I really enjoyed the live entertainment on our first day stay.
Disliked: Elevator is out of order and we had to climb 9 flights of stairs. We was not notified until we arrived. No microwave in the room.

Flood from hurricane has impacted...

Liked: Nice staff. They upgraded our room to a very huge king sized on 3rd floor by the pool.the location was great for a flight.
Disliked: I didn't know they had been impacted by the Tampa floods and the elevator is broken. So although they upgraded to large room it was on the 3rd floor. Hard to take luggage up. Room wasn't super clean/new feeling. It really wasn't dirty but wasn't really worth the price. Only the location was great for a flight.

Not great start, but Home2Suite...

Liked: Decor was great
Disliked: I didn’t like the fact that the day before I arrived, the hotel messaged me saying that there were no elevators but they were open for business. When I arrived I found out they had been on backup generators and it had just failed. Also everything was covered in plastic tarps from the water that was not disclosed. They told me I could stay or cancel. If I stayed the only thing that would be working in my room were tv and lights. No AC. I asked if they knew of availability at other Hilton properties. They didn’t know so I cancelled. When I went across the street to Hampton Inn they had no availability and they actually checked and no hotel had availability. I was able to make reservations for the next 2 nights at Home2Suites in downtown Tampa. I ended up spending the night in my car.

Overall, it was a great...

Liked: I loved the location and vibe of the hotel.
Disliked: The king size bed fitted sheets did not fit the mattress and kept coming off.
