The room I got was...
Liked: This hotel's location is excellent—it's right on the Zocalo. For convenience, you can't beat that. The bathroom was well stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and soap. The room was clean.I really appreciated that the staff spoke English. Dan was very helpful - he found a tour guide for me at a very good price. The view from the room was OK.
Disliked: When I booked my room, the description on Booking said that I would have city views (yes, true) and a patio (not true). It also said I would have one double bed. This was also not true. There were two beds in the room - one small one and one that I don't think you could consider a double bed. The room was also much smaller than the photos. I recommend taking a screenshot of your booking to ensure they don't give you a different room than the one you booked. The room was also very hot and humid. You get a fan that doesn't work very well. The fan actually measured the room's temperature, which was 31 degrees Celsius! Eventually, after 2 nights, the room temperature reached 26 degrees Celsius. But I couldn't get the room to cool down to more than 28 degrees for most of my stay. The WiFi was abysmal. I could not even access the internet from my computer and phone in my room.
