Exceptional

Liked: Loved the location and the room was lovely. Was very clean and was equipped with everything we needed.The breakfast was outstanding with a wide selection of choice.We had an excellent break in Bruges and it wouldn't have been the same without the lovely accommodation.
Disliked: There was nothing we didn't like.

Liked: Great location. Good shops and restaurants. Good taxi to the station.
Disliked: I had a few problems trying to play the piano.

3 night break, excellent value...

Liked: Well located Clean and rooms are spacious Staff were helpful
Disliked: Nothing really, only minor quibbles such as the room towels being small and some were a bit tatty. Could also do with blankets being available as it was cold in Jan (staff got me a spare quilt when I asked)

Unpleasant odour issues and uncomfortable...

Liked: Location is great
Disliked: Immediately on entering the room there was a strong odour of drains or sewage, not expected having paid for a superior room. The window was wide open, I guess to try to get rid of the smell, and considering the extremely cold weather outside it was freezing inside and the room didn’t really warmed up properly. We asked to be moved and was refused, instead I was given a plug in air freshener that whilst masked some of the smell, did not eradicate it and add a sickly sweet artificial aroma on top. The staff seemed uninterested in resolving the problem and to be honest I felt they avoided us for the rest of the stay. The bed was made up of two small beds put together with a mattress topper on top and they came apart during the night. It wasn’t comfortable at all.

Liked: Very nice breakfast. Excellent choices both hot and cold. Location was fantastic short distance to all the attractions. Bruges is a beautiful city, really enjoyed our stay.
