Overall, these hotel was very...

Liked: When you arrive, they provide a goodie bag with some water, wine and chips. Nice touch.
Disliked: They should’ve pointed out that if we wanted our room cleaned that we would need to request it. They also could have told us that if we were across the street to the restaurant that we would get a 10% off.

Feel like in a prison...

Liked: Not much.
Disliked: Small room, not smiling, cold attitude of the receptionist with poor English. The front door has to be locked for safety concerns. It is like a prison. The water in the faucet is in three slim streams close to the definition of dripping and I am on second floor.

Very unsafe

Liked: Did not like the location of property. Locate in an unsafe area of downtown San Francisco. Would not recommend.
Disliked: Hotel smelled like stale cigarettes and was old.

Great location safe stay

Liked: Great location and felt in safe area. Close to shops .metro and cable cars. Room was comfortable and had enough facilities to cover a short stay
Disliked: More coffee . tea without having to ask for it at reception daily.

Liked: Location was perfect for our week long stay. We didn't rent a vehicle, so having the Metro stations 1 block away was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was quiet, for the most part. A few blocks away are quite a few homeless, but Never had Any issues, or felt unsafe. I recommend this hotel for the location and comfort.
Disliked: No microwave. Usually have leftovers from meals, but no way to reheat in one's room.
