Love the location but disappointed...

Liked: Location is fabulous, staff is friendly and helpful. Room is spacious.
Disliked: We were SO disappointed that The English breakfast we have enjoyed on our previous visits has been replaced by a continental breakfast. We would have been happy to pay a teeny bit more to have that hot breakfast

Not a nice experience

Liked: From a budget hotel I would not expect to have excellent facilities but at least 2 things should be assured. A warm room in winter and hot water for a shower. Well these two things were not available. The room was cold. I asked the staff if they could turn on the heating in the room. They replied that I just needed to open the knob of the heater, which is what I already did, but even after one hour nothing happened, it stayed cold. I wanted to have a warm shower, but the water was probably 28 degrees. Not a nice experience in the late evening after a long trip. If the price of this hotel is cheap compared to the most hotels in central London paying £130 for this experience feels like a robbery.

Liked: What a lovely hotel. I was given a friendly, helpful welcome and my little room was gorgeous. Small but pretty, clean, comfortable and with everything I needed. Plus a wonderful view of Hyde Park

Liked: Wonderful location overlooking Hyde Park. Very comfortable and charming staff. Complimentary continental breakfast.

Liked: great location and comfortable rooms
Disliked: more stable WiFi, please. There was a terrible noise from a metal cover on the street outside every time a car drove over it. Please have somebody from the road maintenance team look after that. Clearly not the Hotel's fault and otherwise the street is not bothering...
