Liked: Great central location. Separate bedroom setup giving privacy to co-travellers.Comfortable cosy lounge on second floor. Welcome cider available at entry hall.
Disliked: Lack of ground floor gathering lobby, but lounge on 2nd floor was nice. Voucher for breakfast was confusing. Just $25 rather than 'make sure you order from the menu'.Toilet roller was broke . Housekeeping should note this. Not enough light in the roomsKitchen had no glasses, plates or cutlery, but had a dishwasher? and microwave. Eating breakfast with plastic tools was way below par. Room decor was cool grey, could do with a warmer atmosphere. The city has more than its share of gray already.

Liked: Some of the staff were not that rude.
Disliked: Didn't get my 200$ deposit back. Had 2 rooms for 5 people, and only 4 bottles of water. No toothbrush/toothpaste in a room, unless requested.

Liked: Great location.
Disliked: I recently stayed at the Lex 48 Hotel and was highly disappointed with the cleanliness of my room. The restroom was dirty, and the shower grout was moldy, making it feel unhygienic. The walls and bathroom surfaces were stained and clearly hadn’t been properly cleaned in a while.The carpet was pilling, and it was hard to miss the thick layer of dust along the edges of the furniture and where the carpet ended at the walls. To top it off, the outside bar sink was clogged, which added to the frustration.For the price and the so-called “house privilege fee,” I expected much higher standards of cleanliness. This experience fell far below expectations, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless they improve their housekeeping and room maintenance.
