Peaceful haven in vibrant Barcelona

Liked: The hotel is conveniently located, offering easy access to nearby attractions and public transport, yet it remains reasonably quiet—aside from the occasional rumble of the metro from 6 a.m. until midnight. Our room was beautifully appointed, spacious, and equipped with all the amenities one could need, leaving nothing to be desired. The breakfast was generous, varied, and absolutely delicious, providing an excellent start to the day. A highlight was the roof terrace, which offered an excellent view and provided a perfect spot to unwind. The only downside was the overwhelming jasmine scent in the lobby, which, while perhaps intended to be pleasant, was nauseating and prevented me from enjoying the elegant lobby and bar area. Aside from this, the hotel offers great value for its location and services.

Disliked: Room had a problem and I asked to change the room for the second night. They changed with a better room but it was on the street side and it was noisy, and for the last night I asked again to change the room and finally the last night room was ok. But anything else was absolutely perfect.

Disliked: Rambla ist under construction at the moment, which means one has to expect some noise in the early morning already depending on the room you have

We had a short 4...

Liked: Staff were excellent to deal with and very helpful and friendly throughout my visit. They gave us a list of restaurants to go to which was great as we didn't know where to go to eat especially at the 1 week of January a lot and this clashes with Church Holidays. The page gave us street locations which is friendly for google.
Disliked: Location is super but unfortunately a lot of construction work underway on the ramblas i had no notification of this ongoing work and its seems to take up huge area of works under at one time. A very pedestrianized route very surprised with some of the temporary footpath being provided for tourists. I would have thought google would have updated the map to allow tourist to avoid walking on areas of the Ramblas which was most effected by construction and select an alternative route for walking etc
