Amazing location right by the...

Liked: Loved the bed and my duvet was very nice and thick. Kitchen was always very clean and so were the rooms, impeccable and the showers too Perfect for walks and hikes , lovely visitors centre just near by , lovely pubs too right next to them. Nice and quiet , I went off season in beginning November I imagine it gets very busy in the summer !
Disliked: Only thing that was slightly inconvenient was when I arrived the fridge was full and it was difficult to get any food in there .

Liked: Great location, friendly staff, good value breakfast
Disliked: Poor parking had to park a distance away and carry kit when checking out. Bed was quite narrow plus I’m very tall so not long enough for be comfortable either. Very warm. Very creaky and could hear lots of walking around due to the character of the old building.

Fabulous place to stay

Liked: Friendly and informative welcome. Warm, very clean. Comfortable lounge and bar drinks. Great cooked breakfast, tasty sausages. Drying room really did dry our shoes and the excellent and thoughtful addition of newspaper to stuff in our shoes.. We'll stocked, easy to use self catering kitchen. Excellent location for walking the Peninne way.
