Excellent service and location, noisy...

Liked: Excellent location, awesome rooftop bar with great views and live bands. The free walking tours with Daniel (we loved Daniel!) are a massive highlight and great for seeing such a huge city if you’re on a budget. Ana and the team on reception were brilliant and couldn’t help enough. Ana managed to get us tickets to the sold out Frida Khalo museum which I will be forever grateful for! The breakfast is different every day.
Disliked: The beds were narrow and uncomfortable, there was only warm water first thing in the morning, the hotel is very noisy and it echos as the wooden panel windows open out on to all the other rooms and reception. The hostel knows it’s noisy as they offer ear plugs. On the last day the water came out brown so we couldn’t shower.

Don’t get the hype at...

Liked: Free breakfast was decent. The location is right in the city center, that is true. Lockers were big.
Disliked: There was ONE toilet/shower/sink for 10 girls. ONE! You had to put a deposit down for a towel (which is generally okay) but the towel was the oldest and thinnest thing ever. They do not even provide tissues or towels to dry your hands after you washed them. The location is central, yes, but there is no fan/AC or anything in the room so you need to have the windows open for some air, so it’s super loud. But even with the windows closed it is stuffy and loud. The beds were alright. The rooftop is not a common area but just a bar so you have to purchase something and they treat you like you’re in a restaurant. I truly didn’t get the hype and don’t recommend this place.
