Liked: Negatives outweighed the pros to be honest.
Disliked: Not even worth it for me, I won’t be coming back. I spent over $100 per night for an “upmarket” large hostel that didn’t have any cooking facilities (no stoves or ovens) for nearly 300 guests. Meaning I had to eat out for dinner every night when I had already brought vegetables from my previous hostel stay. There was only shower per dorm room, no other showers in the hostel. The service was appalling, female receptionist was unnecessarily rude - just said “surname?” when I checked in, clearly no customer service experience or training with other interactions I had with her too. Pillows (if you could call them pillows) were extremely thin, and the cheap beds were very noisy when moving around on, so I was woken up all night. I also had to report a guy in my room to the receptionists, who were completely unfazed and unconcerned.Such a waste of money, better hostels in the area, I actually preferred the Hive hostel opposite.Maybe stop wasting money on pool tables and fancy LED lights and improve the hostel facilities? Other reviews will tell you the same. Huge shame for me as this is my last time in Perth for a while.

Overpriced for what it is.

Liked: It's very very clean. The beds have a night light, sockets next to the bed and the rooms and pretty modern. Location is excellent - probably the best in perth.
Disliked: No kitchen, just a crappy bar that serves toasties, coffees and beer and isn't open most of the time. There is a space at the back with a projector but the seating is very uncomfortable, tvs dotted around that are never on. The chairs in the common area are really uncomfortable. The dorms have ensuite toilets and showers which is a pain if you come in late and want a shower and when you go to the loo, everyone can here your business. No outdoor space to smoke or socialise. Overall it felt more like a co working space than a hostel. I would highly recommend to go somewhere cheaper because hostel g really is a rip off.
