If you like historical settings...
Liked: The Spanish-style breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The location of the property is a bit isolated but that's the point--it's a former monastery in a tiny village, and you feel like you've entered history. The restoration has been beautifully done with quality work and materials. We loved it.
Disliked: Nothing comes to mind.

Spectacular! Absolutely wonderful! A heaven in the middle of nowhere.
Liked: A XVII century monastery turned into a perfectly functional hotel. A XIII century church and a XV century granary on the premises. Restaurant in the old refectory. Peace and quiet in the middle of nowhere in the mountains. A once in a lifetime experience.
Disliked: Only one person among the staff spoke limited English. Everyone else spoke only Spanish.
