Bait and Switch Beware!

Liked: The property itself is fine. Clean and beds weren’t terrible. It would have been a great deal for the advertised $50/night. However, upon checking in, we were charged an additional $10/night for EACH of our two children (yes, children) and $15/night for each dog. The extra charge for pets, I understand, but kids?! $50/nt is now $100/nt. The kicker, which was just unfortunate, was the group of workers staying at the motel while in town. They were partying right outside our door. The staff asked them to quiet down around 9p but they didn’t. Finally, at 11:30p, I called the office and asked them to please make them stop. Happily, they did stop, but I never should have had to call. They were right outside the office door.

Liked: We have stayed in different motels around the area and this one is the best by a long shot! It was very clean, quiet, comfortable and the staff were all very friendly! We will definitely return anytime we’re in the area! The price is amazing for the stay!

Disliked: We did not stay, even though I paid ahead of time and could not get my money back. The place was very run down and felt unsafe. I didn't dare to stay alone with my 2 minor grandchildren. I told the staff member 2 men were commenting about the contence in my open trunk. He had nothing to offer to make me feel more secure. Even though the place was dirty and run down, he said it would be an extra $15 for the one night to have a cat in the room. We found much better accommodations a short distance away within the price range, no charge for the cat and a free breakfast. This location should be removed from any reputable online booking agency, I'm sure they have no idea their name is associated with such an undesirable establishment.

Liked: The price and overall cleanliness was good.
Disliked: The bedding was washed but you could tell it wasn't cleaned thoroughly. There were a few small hairs in the sheets, and stains on them as well. I slept in my clothes and with a towel over the pillow.

Good
