Liked: Convenient to train, shops and restaurants.
Disliked: Not over the weekend - a bit loud re music.

Liked: Close by to the amenities we needed and the staff were so welcoming! The attached bottle shop and pub regulars were a bonus.

Great location and staff but...

Liked: The location is great as it is a 5 minute walk to Hornsby train station and is right next to Hornsby mall and the Westfield shopping precinct.The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was large and spacious which was essential as we stayed for 6 nights,
Disliked: The rooms are really old and especially the bathrooms are in desperate need of an upgrade. On the first night our toilet stopped working. We were moved to another room and the TV didn't get all the channels, the toaster was broken and the little food storage cupboard had cockroaches living in it. The wonderful room staff, Jane and Sharnie sorted the TV, toaster and cockroach problems for us. The wheels on my bed were woeful and the bed moved around the room each time I moved during the night.

Liked: The young man on check-in was excellent. Courteous, clear communication. Bed was clean and comfortable. Clean carpets, clean toilet and shower area.
Disliked: There were bugs (baby cockroaches?) scuttling in the fridge, and in the cupboard with the food & crockery, and in the shower. I didn't eat breakfast as a result. Bedside lamps, couldn't figure them out.
