Today Hornsbury Mill has been beautifully converted into a 4-star hotel with the historic mill's stunning original features carefully preserved and sensitively integrated. Beautiful original wooden beams and historic stonework combine with contemporary facilities such as wireless internet access. All of the hotel's cozy rooms with attached bathroom are individually designed and decorated in a traditional country style. Each room has its own unique charm and some of them have pretty window seats where you can enjoys views down to the stream. Liked: Absolutely perfect, the staff could not be more helpful and friendly, the food in the restaurant was vwe good and hot ,what a beautiful place ,the only shame was I had only booked for one night and not more ,thankyou so very much Hornsbury Mill.

Liked: LikesNice welcome, we loved the location, the room was spacious and clean, staff were friendly and very helpful.Loved that the waterwheel was operated for us by a very nice,very busy lady.Food was excellent,dinner and breakfast cooked to perfection,good quality ingredients.Loved meeting Charlotte and George,Peahen and Peacock! Very good pricing of food,excellent value for money.DislikesSadly there were a couple,not so much dislikes more like nigglesNowhere to put your stuff in the shower room other than one tiny shelf.No side plates at dinner, had to ask for them.Moules marinier,which were great,served with nowhere to put empty shells so had to ask for bowl,no spoon for the lovely soupy sauce .A finger bowl would have been useful.Would rather have had dinner in the lovely characterful room by the waterwheel where we breakfasted rather than the rather IMHO, soulless main restaurant!All little things but all that make a great stay and great food, excellent!We do highly recommend the Mill!

Liked: Comfy beds, good shower, thick towels, universally helpful staff
Disliked: Nothing really. It’s an old building so you hear creaks etc but that is to be expected.

Liked: Different, and unique .Friendly staff , very welcoming .Not a chain .
Disliked: Not much to dislike , 10.30 checkout a bit early but they were so accommodating I’m sure it could of been changed if I’d asked.

Lovely weekend break

Liked: Had a problem with the toilet so we were moved to another room with little fuss, given a drink on the house for the trouble. Breakfast was huge !!
