Place was older but clean and staff was friendly. Views were very nice and overall a fair price. Would not recommend eating at the restaurant on site though unless you like boxed fish and burgers for fresh prices.

Liked: We had a really big room with lots of space to relax. The hosts/owners were extremely friendly and accommodating. The hotel is modest looking but clean! And it is next door to Hopewell rocks park.

Comfortable and clean but looks...

Liked: It was convenient to the sights we were seeing. I liked that there was a refrigerator. The breakfast was better than expected. The room was large. It had a beautiful view.
Disliked: It needs spruced up. Decor was VERY basic. Small improvements could make it so much better. For example, add a bed skirt so the mattress bottom is not exposed. Placing the pillows on the bed neatly with a small colorful throw pillow in the middle. Needs a separate light from the vanity to the bathroom. Bathroom door needs repainted as it’s white. So clean it or repaint it.

Enjoyable. I would stay here...

Liked: Location great right beside Hopewell rocks. Restaurant on site with good food. Breakfast also included. Quiet not many guests as it was late in the season.
Disliked: The property is somewhat dated and could use a facelift. The breakfast is basic but it was fine for my needs.

Comfortable and very close to...

Liked: Very clean rooms, plenty of parking out back, good view of the bay with chairs to enjoy view outside rooms, friendly staff, short walk to breakfast. Breakfast was plentiful - enjoyed especially the hot hard boiled eggs (clever), restaurant spacious and attractive with wonderful views. Rooms are a bit spartan to recommend for romantic get-away, but worked well for an over night.
Disliked: No complaints, just noting the age of the buildings and landscaping could use some care.
