Liked: hotel is filthy,restraunt is so bad, food served cold,cuttlery filthy, hotel smells so bad, floors r filthy,lift not working have to use stairs and walk around to underground carpark, steel reo bar exposed thru concrete in many places in carpark this is a rundown place that needs to be knocked down, probly the worst

Liked: The position of the Hotel, helpful staff. Chef a really nice guy.Well maintained premises.

Good

Liked: Value for money, clean and comfortable.
Disliked: That the gym/sauna wasn't available at the time of our stay.

Never again

Liked: The toilet cistern was broken the TV did not work and the blankets were dirty

Communication was awful

Disliked: I had to check in late as their checkin window was 8pm and I was driving from Sydney. I called about 7 times over the last 48 hrs and nobody picked up. Tried their alternate number no pickup. I tried texting and leaving a message through booking.com. No response.The lady at the reception was calm but was not apologetic at all about the circumstances. Said “it’s fine we would have texted you the instructions” as if I would know that without any form of communication from their end at allOpening the room door felt like I was doing an escape room puzzle. Back at the counter the lady said theirs a specific sequence of gestures you needed to do on the touch pad door lock to open it. And she didn’t even write this down… legit gestured it in the air. I didn’t even know what I was listening to at the time. And when I got to the door it made sense but I complete forgot the gesture she was doing mid air. Had to brute force the combination at 11pm… Good price and makes sense if you know what to expect. But do I recommend the place… no chance.oh forgot to mention air con remote didn’t work.

Disliked: The entire Hotel appears to have suffered from a bit of rain inundation during recent extreme weather events, leaving a bit of a damp carpet Oduor throughout

Liked: Didn’t like greeting Didn’t like that door was split (near lock) when I told front desk man who greeted me he said yes we know.Didn’t like how there was loud talking /singing til early hours of morning 3am

Nice enough but needs some...

Liked: 1st roomWalk ways were unswept, door was damaged, toilet was broken and TV didn’t work. Room was nice and clean but I did notice an unpleasant funky smell. I was the moved into another room.2nd roomRoom was clean and everything worked. No unpleasant smell. 2 queen size beds and very comfortable. View of the marina is lovely. Paint was peeling off near the light switch but that’s the only fault I could see.Generally the place is clean and staff (only one person at the desk) was very friendly and helpful when sorting out problems with the 1st room. Bar is okay but the bar table bases need cleaning - they are very grubby at the base and a catch all for dirt and bits. Price was okay compared to anything else that was available around the area and so I would definitely rebook next time I’m in the area.
