Love it and definitely would...

Liked: I loved loved how the hotel is refurbished. It feels nostalgic and right there in Hood River Downtown. The breakfast is outstanding and staff is friendly.
Disliked: It is a little bit pricey to what the facilities offer.

Will definitely stay here again...

Liked: Nicely restored older hotel. Typical “old hotel” issues which add to the charm.All of the hotel folks were friendly and very helpful.The Broder Ost Restaurant was excellent.
Disliked: Not the best WiFi but manager graciously gave me a free upgrade.

Liked: Loved the decor and it smelled nice. Very cozy! Great coffee!
Disliked: Parking and no area close by for the dogs to go potty.

Second Time Staying Here -...

Liked: Second time staying here, and hopefully not my last. Very comfortable bed/room, beautiful lobby with a fireplace which is perfect in the winter. Good coffee in the morning, there was free street parking during the holiday season, and very easy walk to all of the shops and breweries. Friendly staff.
Disliked: All was excellent.

Nice but for the train

Liked: It's an historic buildingThe location is superb
Disliked: The train tracks are very close to the hotel. So the train noise is loud and the trains run all night.
