Liked: I was in the area to take care of things for an ill family member. And this location was perfect for a nice quiet place to go each evening after a stress filled day.

Liked: Absolutely LOVED this place, beautiful and relaxing!! Wouldn’t change anything. Only downside is nowhere close to eat.

Liked: Would definitely come back, this was a short trip. I'd love to do some fishing up there. Downtown Deland is a great place, so much to do.

Hontoon is a hidden gem

Liked: The location on the lake is a very peaceful scene, all of the homes on the road to Hontoon are gorgeous. The outdoor pool was in wonderful shape, the rooms were modern and clean and the front office staff were kind and helpful. I ended up leaving something in the room and they actually called me before I knew it was missing.
