Very accommodating host

Disappointing and uncomfortable stay, poorly...

Liked: The only good thing about this property was that it was quite close to the city centre and other places like the Christ Church Cathedral, the Centre of New Zealand monument and a few other places. However, since one would drive to Nelson anyway, anyone can make that drive from anywhere else even stayed out of town, so this place was absolutely not worth it.
Disliked: Disappointing Stay, Not as Advertised.I’ve been living in this country for over ten years, and this was by far the worst place I’ve stayed. The property did not match the photos posted on Booking.com. The cleanliness was severely lacking: cobwebs were visible throughout, the floors hadn’t been vacuumed, and the rubbish bins hadn’t been emptied from previous guests. The kitchen bin was overflowing, and there was visible mould on the window frames. Additionally, all the handwashing liquid dispensers were empty in both bathrooms and toilets.While I don’t want to hurt the business, I feel it’s important for future guests to be aware of these issues. I hope the owners take this feedback seriously and improve the property so that others can enjoy a comfortable and clean stay in Nelson, rather than feeling frustrated and uncomfortable.

Disliked: This place was really really dirty, especially the bathroom. My room had multiple large spiders living on the high ceilings. I wish I read more reviews before booking.
