Great stay for a great...

Liked: the location was fantastic and easy to get to many different areas of the city depending on the vibe you wanted for the day. The staff was absolutely amazing and accommodating for all our needs, especially the front desk. The complementary breakfast was served during reasonable hours and really good quality.
Disliked: the elevators were really loud and seemed due for maintenance. You could hear the noise from them in all the neighboring rooms while they were running, which was seemingly all day.

My stay was ruined!

Disliked: Hilton Navy Yard engaged in false advertising, and all issues were blamed on Booking.com. Upon arrival, I encountered difficulties addressing my questions and concerns because it was a third-party booking. I had a meeting scheduled, but during setup, I was forced to relocate to another room, causing further inconvenience.Additionally, the room I was given had hair on the floor and carpet, which I documented with photos. The manager claimed they would compensate my valet parking fee of $67.00, yet the charge still appears on my bank statement. I also paid $248.00 for an additional room due to the small size of the original one. They assured me this charge would be compensated, but I was still billed, and it remains on my statement despite having the receipt.While my overall experience was terrible—including the pool being out of order—the front desk operations supervisor handled the situation professionally. She was firm yet helpful and did her best to assist me. However, I was still misled and will be disputing these charges. Looking back, I should have followed through with my original plan to stay at the Gaylord Hotel.

Liked: The location was good if you are not driving, but traffic was bad. I loved the hotel, but you never told us we had to pay for parking. The hotel charged more than I was expecting to pay, and without the parking, I paid more than I was told I had to pay.
Disliked: When you have to pay more than you expected to pay. Not been told that you had to pay for parking.

Excellent hotel and location- good...

Liked: Free breakfast- options were varied each day. Even if it was just a coffee and a pastry it saves money.Staff were friendly- all staff friendly and approachable and helpful throughout stay. Gym and pool facilities clean and well maintained.Laundry facilities is helpful when going away for extended vacation. Fully stocked kitchenette. Rooms were spacious and well maintained. Excellent location just beside metro green line, next to many restaurants and bars and grocery store within 10 min walk.

Comfortable, relaxing, and much needed

Liked: How it’s nice quiet everyone is welcoming even the other guest. It’s very safe. You cannot get up to the rooms unless you have a car and I feel like that made my stay even more comfortable.
Disliked: There really isn’t anything that I didn’t like. I literally enjoyed every little piece of my stay and we’ll be staying again very soon.

Very good

Liked: Very good location, in front of a metro station and with many cafes, restaurants, a supermarket, convenience shop and other facilities around. The room was large, clean and comfortable, with a good sized kitchen. A good cooked breakfast (buffet style). Most staff were friendly (special thanks to Debbie - front desk and Shawnae - breakfast and Keith, the Operations Manager - for making our experience more enjoyable!)
Disliked: Breakfast options should be improved and changed a bit more frequently.
