Liked: The room was wonderful. So nice to have an actual working kitchen, saves a little to not eat out every meal. Huge room was well appointed and clean, definitely had a home-like feel. Close to so many attractions: FDR, Vanderbilt, Culinary Institute, etc. Will definitely stay here again.

Liked: The hotel was in close proximity to the highway without being subjected to highway traffic noise. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Mark ensured we were taken care of.
Disliked: The hotel appears to be in need of some updating. We were initially assigned to room 201 and very quickly realized how poorly insulated the ceilings and walls were. We endured about an hour of our upstairs neighbors stomping on the floor and assumed they were in town for a parkour exhibition which seemed odd given it was late November and quite brisk but who are we to judge? Mark was extremely accommodating and understanding when I brought this to his attention and he moved us to a quieter block of the hotel. I had initially felt a little petty but upon returning to clear out room 201 to move to 326 I heard our neighbors in 203 having a discussion from the hallway and then club music coming from one of the neighboring rooms and felt validated and reassured that I was not overreacting. My usual hotel stays are at places like Great Wolf Lodge where the typical guests are families with young children and have experienced superior insulation and noise buffering.At first I was impressed by the cleanliness and decency of both rooms but upon further inspection, the carpet was worn and a little musty smelling but no dust so it'd clearly been vacuumed and both showers had amateur caulk work done. My boyfriend is highly sensitive to mold and has asthma that can be triggered by spores. He has been experiencing symptoms since the first night staying at the hotel. Now that it's been 24 hrs since checking out, his respiratory system is back to normal. This isn't meant to be a reflection on the hotel cleaning staff as the day to day cleaning is evident but it might be time for the hotel to get an update.
