Liked: I liked that the front desk employees were extremely kind informative about the pool how to get to your room. The breakfast in the morning is huge with many attendants to keep food flowing. They also have a bar (we didn't know until checkout) that you also can order food from which would of been helpful to know. I love the rooms come with actual plates and utensil and not paper or plastic and was surprised to find a dishwasher as well. The bathrooms come with a nonslip mat for the tub you can put out. The balcony was the best I have ever been on at the beach. It has it own light for the balcony along with outdoor outlets. There are multiple lights in the room (hallway, be side each bed, by the couch and separate tv, etc.) all of which have outlets (so many outlets to charge things!) which was nice so you didn't have to disturb someone who was sleeping. It was also nice finding a central a/c system instead of those funky window units a lot of hotels still have. You could set it and forget it. Finally, the beds... oh wow was it sooo comfortable! It felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. It definitely helped my poor back not only from work but the 7 hour car ride and left me feeling refreshed in the morning.
Disliked: Valet Parking is $25 per day and even though we arrived at 8pm on Saturday and left at 9am on Sunday we were still charged for 2 days of parking. There is also no signs outside on where to go since the front desk is not located on the first floor. You have to go down the entry to the elevator to see that the front desk is located on the 3rd floor so makes it confusing for first time guest. Now, not a big deal for me but I could see how they dont wash the outside furniture down for their seating outside the breakfast room could be a turn off for some. We were able to find 2 chairs out of the dozens out there that were clean. Also when you look down from your room there seems to be a ton of beachwear that people may have had hanging from their balconies that blew off at some point that havnet been removed so makes the roof of the pool look unkempt. Finally, even though our room was immaculate I hopped out the shower and went to go use the lotion by the sink to find it empty. It was a disappointment when everything else in the bathroom was held at a high standard.
