Stayed for two nights as I was attending a performance in the area. Very happy with this hotel - large room with the bedroom separate from the full kitchen, living room. Large bathroom but shower only, no tub (not an issue for me). Hot breakfast was very good, the staff were friendly and helpful and I couldn't beat the nightly price. Central location is perfect, what I couldn't walk to, I was able to Lyft. I chose to use SpotHero for parking (2 blocks from the hotel) as I thought the valet option was a bit pricey. Will definitely stay here again if need to be in the area.
Liked: Clean, large, comfortable room. Separate bedroom with full kitchen/living room area a major bonus. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the hot breakfast was good.
Disliked: The valet parking is a bit pricey.

good property, staff while nice,...
Liked: Very good continental breakfast, great location (parking and valet is limited) room was decent and spacious
Disliked: Staff at check in was incompetent. Arrived at 11:10 PM, didn't get into a room until almost midnight. Initial staff person was unable to process credit card due to an error on the machine they were using, couldn't figure out how to use a different machine at a different work station.Eventually checked us in to room 905, took the elevator to the 9th floor but were unable to gain access to the room, the key card was met with a flashing red and green light on the card reader. Went back to the front desk and was told it was likely a battery error. It wasn't. Some poor unsuspecting sole was sleeping in that room, security barged in on them. Aparrently a red and green flashing light means the deadbolt is locked from the inside. Incompetent staff should have known that and recognized the situation when it was pointed out to them instead of having us parade back up to the room a second time and have security barge in on someone that was occupying that room. Side note... Have better records so you know when someone is in the room.Valet on first night said they would keep my truck at the valet drop off location as it was too big to put in the car elevator and take down to their underground garage. No problem, except they didn't. Operating under the understanding that the truck would be left out front, we left our snack bag in the truck and intended to come back for it after checking in. Unfortunately, different valet employee had another idea and decided to take the truck elsewhere and it was inaccessible to us.Valet at this hotel uses a text system to retrieve your vehicle. Was told the process takes about 5 minutes. Next morning, planning to go snowboarding, we request the vehicle about 10 minutes before leaving, finish breakfast and walk out to find... not our vehicle. Mention that we'd requested the vehicle to the inital valet whom the night before mentioned the truck would stay out front, apparently this is too long.

I will not stay here...
Liked: The view and the location.
Disliked: I had stayed 1 night in a deluxe suite. I wanted to add another night. The hotel said I could not extend my stay, and would need to book another night separately. So, I booked a king suite, which is what I thought I had stayed in. The front desk informed me that I booked the wrong room, and I was actually currently in a deluxe suite. They told me to cancel the king suite and book the deluxe suite, and I could stay in the same room and wouldn't be charged for the king suite. They DID charge me for the king suite, and I have been trying to work with Booking and the property for 2 weeks now, and STILL haven't gotten a refund on the king suite. The staff is dismissive and the manager doesn't care about customer satisfaction.

Nice stay, nothing special but...
Liked: Nice sized rooms, clean property and yummy breakfast. Overall, it was a good value for our holiday stay. They served breakfast until 10am everyday which was really nice and all the food was excellent.
Disliked: The location is ok - it’s right downtown but the immediate area is a little sketchy and not super nice. They locked the doors overnight for security but they didn’t unlock them until late afternoon a couple days we were there which was a little inconvenient because while the doors are locked, they close the Homewood Suites entrance and you have to use the Hilton Garden Inn doors to come and go. It just seems lazy not to let us use both doors as the front desks are in the middle of the lobby. It’s not a luxury property by any means but it’s clean and felt relatively safe. It would have been nice if the pool was open a little later though as we didn’t get a chance to try it out. Parking was a huge hassle, however, as we didn’t want to pay the $60per day (insanely high, almost as much as the room) for valet so had to constantly move our car and be aware of the times if we parked in one of the surface lots for longer periods. I just couldn’t justify paying as much for parking as the room and I think that’s ridiculous and one of the factors is consider for a future stay (nicer hotels might be cheaper when parking is factored in).

Liked: We were there for the Parade of Lights. Very nice room to get out of the traffic. Excellent place to watch the Parade. Breakfast was delicious.
Disliked: We ordered food from a nearby restaurant and they had to cancel. They couldn't get through. I should have planned dinner better.
