From the time I checked in until I checked out, everyone was kind, considerate and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the room and lobby was very clean. Made me really grateful I paid a bit more for a room!

Liked: Location was close enough to University of Alabama campus and layout of the room was nice, but some upgrades are needed.
Disliked: The closet doors were off the track, no in-room safe, and the mattresses need to be replaced. Lobby men’s restroom has broken handle. Outdoor TV was nice on Saturday- unfortunately, clerk at desk said the area was closed on Friday night. Not cool, be better at your job!N

Just okay

Liked: The location is great. The gentleman who checked us in was polite and helpful. The lobby smelled fresh and clean. There was some nice comfortable seating in the lobby.
Disliked: We were encouraged to park around the back to be closer to our elevator and suite since we were disabled. We did the first night, but the following day all that parking was blocked off to be used for the remodeling being done on the 5th floor. That elevator also was usually full of workers and dismantled furniture, so it was not convenient to use. The parking out front was overfull, so it made it hard to get a parking spot. We spoke to a young lady at the front desk about a few things and our microwave not working in our Suite and it was a big inconvenience. She was not very personable or caring. She sent a maintenance man who didn't speak English and my husband had to instruct him on how to fix the loose faucet in the bathroom. The microwave was never replaced. The second bathroom didn't have much hot water. The walls, floors, and doors were stained quite dingy. We went to have breakfast at 8:30 a.m. and there was not much available. There was only toast, muffins, burned eggs and cheese, and some sort of ground beef in a slurry that was not appetizing. There was no juice, bacon, sausage, or waffles, and no one around to ask to refill. When making the reservation our family member was told about the pool hours, but upon check-in they said the pool was closed for the season. Another disappointment.

All and all it was...
