Great access to the bus...

Liked: As we close out 2024, I’d like to give a shout out and recommend to all of the administration and staff at Hometowne Suites Red Roof Inn for doing an outstanding job. It’s one of my favorite places to stay when I’m in the area, the housekeeping team both day and night does a really good job to make the guests stay as best as possible. If you have guests come to visit you, and your looking for a good hotel to recommend, look to Hometowne Suites Red Roof Eugene-Springfield

Passable

Liked: They gave me a key card for an occupied room. The occupant was not happy.
Disliked: There was a dog off leash barking at me. It scared me.

Horrible

Liked: Nothing it was filthy
Disliked: When we checked into our room, it was a mess The door is unlocked and it smelt like someone had just done drugs. Ended up, asking for a refund and drove home instead

Disliked: I didn't like how the furniture and bathroom looked very used.

Look to Red Roof Eugene...

Liked: This is our favorite place to stay when in the Springfield/Eugene area. The staff is top notch, and the members of the services team are exceptional. I recommend to anyone looking for a good nights rest to look into Red Roof Eugene!, thanks again to all the staff, your a wonderful group, led by a true leader. We will be back soon.

low price but scary and...

Liked: Pretty good price.
Disliked: Location was a bit scary. Minimum amenities, not even a drinking cup in the room.

It was fine as a...

Liked: The property was affordable during the football game. I felt safe there as a solo woman traveler. The bed and room was clean and comfortable. There were no bedbugs. It was very minimal so I suggest you bring your own warm blanket and pillow. Also the window had no screen.
Disliked: The window had no screen but that wasn’t a problem because the flying bugs were non existent. I had to use a hangar to prevent the window from being able to be opened from the outside. There was no blanket provided. The room was extremely minimal

The room didn’t have comforters...

Liked: The staff and location was the only nice thing about this property.
Disliked: The room didn’t have comforters on our beds at check in and the sheets were dirty. We didn’t get comforters until 9:30 pm and we had to call down to ask for them. When we got them they came all crumpled in a ball (not folded). One was an actual comforter and the other was a light top blanket. We were in a room with two queens. The lighter blanket we received was littered in cigarettes burn wholes. As was the drapes for the windows. There was music playing all night long. The smell of the unit was so bad we had to go to target to get air fresheners and room spray. We walked around the property and found one room with cocaine lines on the table inside a room that had no curtains to close, even if they wanted to. All outlets had burn marks on the wall next to them. The outlet in the bathroom didn’t even work. The HDMI ports in the TV had been ripped out. It was scary and we will never stay there again.
