Liked: Everything was amazing. From the check in till departure. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were very spacious. The beds were really comfy aswell also the pullout sofa bed was even extremely comfortable. The swimming pool was very clean heated and warm. We loved the jacuzzi it was so relaxing and again very clean. The Breakfast in the morning was also a plus and was nice to grab on our way out upon checkout. My husband and I had a lovely time celebrating his homecoming. We will definitely be coming back to stay again. If u were coming with children as a family trip the rooms and hotel are very accommodating with the big kitchen with all the same comforts of home. Our room had full size stove/oven , full size fridge and also a dishwasher. And plenty of space in the rooms for the kids to play and a family to feel comfortable. I really think this was the best hotel I been to in quite some time. Thanks again homestead we look forward to our visit in the very near future.

Not what we were expecting...

Liked: Location was fine. Breakfast was fine. Not amazing but not terrible.Cancelling the remainder of our stay was very easy. The staff in general were completely lovely, friendly folks. It was just the quality of the room that ruined the stay for us.
Disliked: We had booked for 3 nights but only stayed 1. The biggest thing: The room hadn't been properly cleaned since that last occupants. The complimentary toiletries were half-used and covered in someone else's foundation stains. There were pubic hairs on the toilet seat. There were crumbs in the cabinets (of our kitchenette room). The room was nonsmoking but the bathroom reeked of cigarettes. The room had some large splattery stains on the walls, and a general ramshackleness - cracks in the countertop and floor molding, sagging floor boards, loose drawer knobs, squealing water faucets, etc. The microwave light was out. The clocks were all the wrong time. We ultimately decided not to use the shower at all, and had some worries about roaches and bed bugs (but never saw any). Not exactly the romantic getaway we were hoping for. The highway outside was very loud through the window. The door had no weather stripping so every sound from the hallway could be heard and vice versa. The bed frame groaned terribly just getting in and out, and the mattress had a loose spring that jabbed us in the ribs. It was not a restful night and ultimately we made the decision to bail. Unfortunate all around.

Pretty relaxing.

Disliked: Only problem was that the refrigerator kept making loud noises throughout the night.
