Exceptional

Really nice place and lovely...

Liked: Great location for us to get to the tube station and the bed was really comfy.
Disliked: Our shower didn’t drain very well, so in order to prevent flooding the whole bathroom I had to turn the water off each time I put on shampoo or body wash.

A lovely stay!

Liked: Extremely friendly and accommodating owners, can’t do enough to help! Breakfast is fantastic and rooms are clean and comfortable.

Liked: Friendly, helpful staff. Good location. The rooms were small but very well appointed. Nice walk in shower, modern bathroom. Kettle, tea and coffee in the room.

It could have been so...

Liked: The location is brilliant and the room attractive. Generous amount of tea, coffee, milk. One of the ladies on reception carried my bag up to the second floor for me. Thought the quality of the room was good for the price considering it was London. Lovely park nearby and the nearby Weatherspoons is very handy. Staff really nice there.
Disliked: There was only one towel in the room and I was going to wash my hair. Asked for another one and the lady on reception said they weren’t back from laundry yet but there was a room full of them. The space between the end of the bed and the wall is so small, climbing across the bed seemed preferable and I weigh 7 stone. The loo ran for a long time after flushing- sometimes it didn’t stop. Tried to tell the receptionist about it as no one likes to waste water but she didn’t have enough English to understand me! Took me a long while to work out the shower and didn’t stop dripping for ages.

Liked: The location is good, 5 minutes' walk from Hounslow centre. Pianka (the receptionist ) is very helpful and friendly.
Disliked: There was no housekeeping staff, and the room may have remained uncleaned for over two days. The bathroom's hot reel is rusty, and there was no cleaning for the bathroom. There was no mini bar in the room so that I could keep my medicine chilled. There was no kitchen service, nor was there any breakfast. Overall, Homestay is a bed and breakfast stay without the breakfast part. I would grade it less than one star.
