Could have been so much...

Liked: I loved having the kitchen in the room. That was helpful! Sadly, the hotel is very noisy. You can hear people having normal conversations through the walls. I learned all about our neighbors’ gossip mill! The staff called us in the middle of the night to tell us to be quiet when we were sleeping!! Then we could hear the other phones in the other rooms ring as well, like they were calling all the rooms to tell people to be quiet, instead of coming up stairs to see what was happening. No one was being excessively loud. We were all having normal conversations in our room. Clearly sound-proofing was not a priority when constructing this hotel. The employee who stood out to me and my roommate the most was Jonas who was helping guests park and move their bags from their cars. He was helpful and informative about the area. While I liked the room and the amenities, if I can avoid it I will choose another hotel next year for the conference. Even if I have to drive a little farther.
