We will be back!
Liked: New and modern looking. Had an accessible room as it was necessary for a family member. The room was huge. Lots of space to move around. Oval table on wheels tucked under the desk area made for flexible seating. One end table could slide out from another. The coffee table/ottoman was upholstered and great for flexible seating too, but could also be stored out of the way. Lots of space in the bathroom as well. Tons of cabinet/shelf/drawer storage for clothes and other items in the room. Comfortable sofa that fit 3 people seated. Our son slept well on the pull-out bed.Breakfast was good. Options include oatmeal with many fixings, 2 types of premade omelets, 2 types of premade breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, bananas and apples, a couple kinds of juice, yogurt from a dispensing machine instead of small containers, 2 kinds of milk, make your own waffles plus fixings for them, plus coffee, tea and hot water. Plenty of seating for breakfast both at a tall bar height table with stools and also regular height tables with a chairs. One child has celiac disease and he could eat hard boiled eggs or ask for fresh premade cheese omelettes on their own plate, free from cross contamination. They offered gluten free bread, but the revolving toaster would have been a nightmare of crumbs so he skipped it. None of the cereals were celiac safe.
Disliked: Kitchen area had a microwave, sink, dishwasher, garbage disposal, tiny Keurig-like coffee pot and toaster. No dishes or utensils. Thankfully we brought our own. There was a can opener. Almost a complete kitchen, but no stove/burner to cook an easy meal. We planned ahead and brought pulled pork and our own panini press. The jacuzzi in the pool area had hot water but the jets didn’t work. We were able to use the pool facilities at the Residence Inn that was on the other end of the parking lot basically, but with a handicapped family member it wasn’t super convenient.
