Great hotel, good location, good...

Liked: The breakfast was great - good selection always kept topped up and great staff to keep it flowing smoothly. We were at breakfast every morning around 7.30 and it wasn't crazy busy. The waffle station downstairs is great too. The room was exactly what was on the website - very often they're not! Really clean, with a kitchenette, coffee maker, fridge freezer. Comfy bed too. The lifts were just outside our door and we never heard them. Lifts were a bit slow in the morning between 9 and 10am, but the longest wait we had was 10 minutes. Really lovely helpful staff, great location, close to subway, 10 mins walk to grand central for LIRR. We loved our 3 nights and would definitely book again.
Disliked: At a push, sometimes the wait for the lift, if you were in a hurry, but it didn't make or break our stay

Disliked: The amenities, the long line to wait for the elevator the organization when a elevator was broken with people inside.

Ok to rent for 2...

Liked: Breakfast, clean, nice staff
Disliked: We rented a room for 3 people, which has a double bed and pull out single bed from a love seat sofa. The mattress on this bed was thin and my sister, who was sleeping there, could feel the springs under her so she was very uncomfortable. I asked the hotel personnel if they could bring an extra mattress to put on top of the thin mattress but there were no mattresses. They should not be stating the room can fit three people when it actually fits 2 people. I am going to complain to corporate as I was very unhappy with this room.

Liked: The location is great. Free coffee is available.
Disliked: First of all, there is not enough space to have breakfast. After the first couple of days, I and my friend gave up having breakfast. We also saw lots of people take some fruits to their room as there aren’t many tables to sit. Getting elevator is also nightmare, especially in the morning. Room cleaning wasn’t good either, never hoovered the floor. Never got enough towels and etc, whilst we paid the full price.
