Superb
Liked: Didn't have breakfast, but staff was amazing
Disliked: The surprise parking fee of $11.50 a night. Not cool.

It was fine, but with...
Liked: The staff was super-friendly and professional. Breakfast was OK - good, but not remarkable. The location is very good, and the rooms are nice. I especially liked the near full-size fridge and freezer (I need to carry an ice pack). The rooms are cheery and mine seemed clean generally (no dust, the sheets were immaculate, no missing veneer on furniture). There were also plenty of outlets and USB charging points.
Disliked: There is a $10/day PARKING FEE for this suburban hotel! I have family in the area, and often come to town for concerts, holidays and reunions. I've stayed in maybe 5 or 6 other hotels in a 5-mile radius of this hotel, all of which had free parking. This is just a money grab and it's unconscionable. My main issue is lack of attention to detail. There was leftover chicken (maybe tofu?) in the sink. The dishwasher was full. There were water spots in the shower I'm hoping were from it being cleaned, not the last guest. When I checked in that afternoon the small paper food bag next to the trash can was already there (see photo). By the next morning, the rest of the trash had piled up. This means that either they need bigger trash cans in that area or that no employee had checked the trash cans for 17ish hours? The heat was inconsistent: the room would get cold, waking me up. But then the heater would run at full blast until it was uncomfortably hot, waking me up again, even though the thermostat was set to 70F. Also, I personally hate how hotel pillows are super-soft now, and collapse to 1/2" thick as soon as you put your head on them.Lastly, a very personal gripe: the TV appeared to be a basic TV. I love the Moxy's TVs, with their easy QR logins to streaming services so you can watch your own Netflix or Hulu account in your room, and the TV also acts as a Bluetooth speaker, so you can listen to tunes while getting ready? That's SO NICE! I wish more places had those!
